I don't think hughes has enough tools to beat GSP and everything matt is good at george is better so I don't think hughes could beat him even if he was younger

How is to say Hughes isn't in his prime now? I feel the evolution of the sport has passed he by.

Yeah it was me that said Hughes could take GSP if he was younger. Hughes has always been one of my favorite fighters even though he can be a prick sometimes hes very modest and I respect that in him.If you look at Hughes record you can't deny thats hes one of the best in the world, he defended the title successfully for such a long time against the best of the best. I'm not denying that GSP isn't the best right now I'm saying if Hughes had the same heart he did when he first started fighting there'd be very little competition, and if he was in his prime then I dont think hed be talking about retiring, Guys at his age usually start to lose alot of the testosterone they used to have and as a result they really dont have as much heart to fight and it doesn't matter to them as much anymore. Plus when you're as accomplished as someone as Hughes I dont really think it matters anymore whether you win or lose because you've already been with the best. Sorry such a strong opinion but I stick by it.

I really don't see Hughes beating the GSP of today. Hughes at his best was still never in the league of GSP. Everyone is better now then they was then. Look at what GSP has don't to people. Hughes never dominated everyone as easy as GSP has. Not to mention the fact that fighter are better now than they were 5 years ago. My two cents :/
